If it’s real, true, clincher and you like it then that’s all that matters
If youre commuting, stick with clincher wheels
I only run tubulars for races, this would be a great race wheel. Sounds like you’re gonna commute on it, and that should be fine! Continental makes a tubular gatorskin, which has a lot more grip than the clinchers, that along with it being in front makes this pretty reasonable if you’re sticking relatively close to home.

Edit to say if you follow the directions on continental’s tubular glue it’s not difficult, just time consuming. Clean up the old glue first with mineral spirits or something – again, time consuming but not difficult

That’s a racing wheel that runs tubulars. Probably going to cost 100-125 for the tire + 40-60 for glue up. It’s great for racing, but for commuting it will be expensive and time consuming to replace the tire if it has a puncture.
Tubular tires aren’t that hard to change. I always used tufo tape.
