Got back from a 3 day trip (I way over packed haha, and carried some stuff for others on the trip too) over Easter on my newly built up Stumpjumper.
Mix of period(ish) parts and modern, all a mix of secondhand and new. This is my first build and I’m super happy with how it came out!

Very nice!
I first thought the colour was a re spray. It compliments the brooks saddle perfectly.
I have a nitanium rockhopper I’m still working on, I’ll be happy it it ends up like this.
Is there any reason/benefits in mounting panniers in the front?
How’d it handle with all the weight in the front?
I also always wonder about tilted up Brooks saddles… enough people do it I assume it works but it never stops looking wonky. No offense, I hope that doesn’t sound bad 😉 I have a Berthoud (bit of a present to myself as I don’t get on well with the B17 and always wanted to try a leather saddle long term). I do pretty well with it flat on my gravel/touring bike (fit is pretty relaxed for gravel, a hair pitched forward compared to how many tour).
