Bike is the TRIBAN GRVL 120 from Decathlon, haven’t got any upgrades yet as want to get into it first before upgrading. Location was the United Kingdom

  3. I’m sure you’ve heard it before but seat, pedals and handlebars first. It’s where your body makes contact with your steed and first things you should upgrade

Really nice bike, got mine two years ago. Still works like a champ. A bit heavy on the maintenance side, but nothing impossible.

  6. Wonderful bike, I started gravel cycling on a rc120. Its a great bicycle and it will fulfill all your needs for a long time. In fact I bought a 2.5k bicycle and besides brakes I can’t say that its a huge difference.

Personally I decided not to invest in expensive upgrades, mainly due to the fact that the frame has a built in derailleur hanger, which means that if it bends, the whole frame is most likely toasted. However it might never happen, or maybe it is covered by Decathlon’s warranty, but mine was a 2nd hand bicycle and I wasn’t gonna risk that.
