Or those poor golfers who have to have golf shoes, golf pants, golf shirts and a hat. In my day you just wore your kilt like real men.
Or those poor race car drivers who have to wear fire retardant suits and helmets along with a five point seatbelt. Back in my day we wore normal clothes and just died when we crashed.
What is the big deal with using sports equipment and wearing clothes that make the sports more enjoyable? I don’t go around mocking basketball players for their clothes, or football players for their choice of clothing either. Not are you going to have a comedian try and laugh at them for it. So why cycling? What makes them different?
