This is the first stage of our Eurovelo 19 cycle tour. We planned and booked the entire trip in advance. We didn’t want to camp so we booked all the accommodation with cycling in mind. We took one bike over and bought one e-bike from Decathlon. This meant we needed some extra time in Amsterdam to organise ourselves. We will be showing the rest of the tour in stages.

Did you have to buy a special ticket to be able to bring the bikes on the train? Was it easy to take the train with the bikes? Wish you a wonderful trip!

I don't get it, no fenders… These things weigh nothing and you really can't ride without them here in the Netherlands or for that matter in Europe….Get your gear in order before you start a trip, good( new) tires, fenders, quality rims, chain ect. Fenders/chain guard save wear on your chain and therefore on your derailleur…
