And, we will be able to pay our respects. It is not too far as it will take me around 10 minutes to get there. And, once I get there, I will present you the gurdwara. And, I would like to add that you should definitely subscribe to this channel, for the channel’s growth.

So, let’s get going. So, now we are on our way, to Guru Nanak Gurdwara, in Bedford So, we are about to reach the gurdwara. This is the roundabout. From here, we need to go right. However, the grey building you are looking at, right in front the grey building.

This was the building, where the gurdwara was first established. Guru Nanak Gurdwara (in Bedford) was the first gurdwara, however, I will explain more later on. This grey building, right in front, was where Guru Nanak Gurdwara, was first located. So, we have arrived at the gurdwara.

So, once I have reached there, I will show you the gurdwara. We have arrived. So firstly, I will park my motorcycle. Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal! (Whoever utters the word of God, shall be blessed and happy!) So, in front of me, is a board for, Guru Nanak Gurdwara.

I have parked my motorcycle. So, have a look for yourselves. This is the gurdwara. Guru Nanak Gurdwara Sahib Have a look. Now, I will explain a bit more about the gurdwara. The gurdwara’s first location was the grey building Guru Nanak Gurdwara After that, the sangat (community) bought this building

And then later, the sangat (community), committed to seva (selfless service) and created this gurdwara. It is such a spectacular gurdwara. All the material, all the marble, used to make this gurdwara, came from India. The workers, who built the gurdwara, also came from India. So, have a look.

So, a fun fact about this gurdwara is that, a Punjabi films was actually filmed here. The film ‘Bina Band Chal England’. So, as you can see, the marble used to build the gurdwara, is so beautiful the marble looks so pure and is just so beautiful.

People from all over, come to see this gurdwara. If we were to to talk about the parking situation, the car park is perfect. As you can see, the car park is really big. Even if you have a wedding program, coaches can also fit in this car park.

It is a really big car park. This is the view, from behind. Look how spectacular. This is such a beautifully created gurdwara. Over here, is the community centre. This is the older building. The second gurdwara, the sangat (community) bought. After that, this is the next gurdwara, that was built.

Just look how beautiful, the marble used, looks. The marble looks so beautiful So now we will go inside, to pay our respects. So, the main door is this one. However, to enter the gurdwara, you need to enter through the older gurdwara’s main entrance. When entering, in front, is the jora ghar (shoe area).

And the langar hall (free kitchen) is also beautifully made. So, let’s head inside. This is the main entrance. This is today’s hukamnama (daily prayer) So, now we will go inside, to pay our respects, to the Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy book). Currently, there is a Sri Akand Path (three day prayer) happening.

Here, I will be washing my hands. Please pay your respects to the Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy book). This is the langar hall (free kitchen). Because it is a week day, the are not that many sangat (community members) here today. More sangat (community members) usually come on Sunday’s.

So, here is our Gianni ji (priest). Are you making a video? Yes, I am. That’s nice, go ahead. Please have a look/pay your respects, at the ten guru (spiritual teachers) photos, that are displayed. These paintings were done by a doctor/painter, from Amritsar, who made these amazing hand drawn paintings.

He also drew the model of the gurdwara too. So, I am going to eat some langar (free food), at the gurdwara now. It felt so good, to come pay my respects to the Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy book). The gurdwara is so beautifully been made

And I would recommend you to come pay a visit too. It is such a beautifully made gurdwara. The sangat have done a lot of seva (selfless service) here. So, I’m about to eat some langar (free food) and once I am done, I will be going.
