Santa Cruz is not going to put a fake seat on their bike, lots of OE stuff like that is slightly different from the aftermarket model when it comes to labels. My Rocky Mountain came with a WTB Volt that also doesn’t have any size info on it

  2. There’s a 0% chance that Santa Cruz is putting fake products on their bikes. It is normal though for seats (and other parts) to be oem spec with different labelling and specs.

  3. My Bronson came with this saddle also. So comfy… bought the same one from a (legit) store and it is different somehow ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)

“Silverado” is a size. If you go to the wtb website and use their sizing tool/method, they’ll recommend you different saddles based on that result. It recommended I ride a Volt, and it’s been a great improvement.

My conspiracy theory is that they intentionally give you a saddle that doesn’t fit most people so that you have to go buy a new one that’s comfortable.

Seems like WTB for OE vs direct are made differently. My Hightower seat looks different from yours, but I almost immediately replaced it with an Ergon 🙂

Bikes ship with pedals and seats that are meant to be replaced upon delivery
