I bought an outlet Aeroad CF SL 8 with Mechanical Ultegra for €3800, which I’m currently waiting to be delivered.
I’m now thinking, should I have gone for the revamped Aeroad CF SLX with new seat post and Sram Rival AXS for €5000?
I live in the mountains so I do appreciate a bit of weight saving however I’ve never ridden an Aero bike or electronic gears. I already own a 2015 Ultimate CF SL (7.2kg) but I’m in the market for a new bike and didn’t want to get another climbing style Ultimate or TCR etc.
CF SL – cheaper, lighter, easier to maintain
CF SLX – new seat post, electronic gears, power meter
