Slapped together this frame-up build for a friend. It’s a very near bike and the paints in remarkable shape for the age. The lady still had the original purchase receipts too. This thing was a challenge to put together as the original brakes had gone missing and the brake posts are too close together for most modern cantis to work. I found some 90s ones that worked well enough! The Cane Creek wheels were from a work trade with a friend and the rest is take-offs and parts bin stuff. The frame is still a bit long so I’m going to swap the drops for some reeeealll backsweepy riser bars for comfort as wel plan to take this on a 300 mile trip this summer.
