Um you know can messages that can’t end up being uh I ain’t I ain’t spilling the beans yet until I know it’s all done but you guys can you can the your eyes I can I can nod no and Shake yes and really confuse everybody about what’s up

Um we we front engine swapped it and we put an LS in it maybe a a rotary quad rotor na in the front because you know that seems like a a reasonable thing to do what’s up bong welcome Hey I know let’s talk about Wheels what do you think Roger should we

But did let me know that there was a lot of commotion going on uh once uh they were moving so oddly um my friend Ben spe his car finished 3 days before mine at emden and uh it’s still there it never got on a boat and didn’t come to the Port of

Houston like he was told so he’s kind of bent as I would be cuz now the car is still wherever the it is and not with him and he’s got already got an exhaust so hopefully he doesn’t want to send the exhaust back I don’t think he

Will he’s got another car com um so now the trick with this bad girl is to get her all dressed up in her Orange in her orange dress and uh get the wheels done um and get some miles uh so that we can rip it in

Smokeys on the East Coast which will be really really fun that’ll be really fun we should hopefully uh have two cars going um it’s kind of crazy so uh our our other two good friends um John and Doug um it’s already here brother I appreciate that

Mike um but uh one of them got backed into uh and so we’re in a mad scramble trying to get uh the 4 RS lab rat all done and put back together uh and to help the The Body Shop get that done um and uh our other brother dug his car had

An off-road Excursion a track Excursion from a brake failure um dunan orange wheels unlock free garage spots at the ridge I like that I like that a lot and I will take you up on that um uh I think Ed has some orange wheels on his RS as well but

Um uh Doug had an off-road Excursion and he’s had one side of the car eating MCS lift pucks it’s very strange and so we haven’t been able to pin it down uh Jacob uh is on the case we’re on the case and Wyatt from MCS is on the

Case uh we think there’s a boogered bearing somewhere in the stack that’s keeping so when a when you when you turn the steering wheel of a car the uprights move and since the strut is bound in the upright that’s how a lot of these are

Um the uh the top of the strut and kind of the rest of of the strut in a mcfar and strut car needs to rotate so it needs to rotate and if there’s a bearing that’s bound up or bent or something that’s not quite right kind of at the

Top then that rotational force will be transferred to something that allows it to happen we’re thinking that there’s a booger bearing somewhere in the stack that hasn’t been identified cuz the car has been apart by a few different people um and that that the the lift Puck is

Actually being asked to twist because he keeps popping the snap ring which is very odd it’s very odd so anyway um want to go briefly over the wheel thing because I was challenged and I want to explain a few things on my bully pulpit that I don’t have to answer to any

about how I feel about it um oh yeah they’re they’re going to get painted Roger so they’re going to get painted not powerder coated uh the guy down here in Tacoma is going to do them so if you want to drop the wheels off

Down here uh I’d say before the end of next week or just have somebody run them down we can have him paint them as well uh that way they can get done um and maybe get an inspect on them so to make sure they don’t have any

Cracks uh I was challenged about why Dundon doesn’t sell Apex wheels or Titan 7 wheels or any other Jo blow I’ll say budget friendly wheel not in a jackass way but budget friendly wheel because that’s what they are they’re relatively inexpensive compared to the other wheel options that are out

There and I’m sure the guys that run them are fantastic I’m sure they’re not trying to pull the wool over anyone etc etc but but GT3 GT3 rs’s Etc cup cars and the like pull a lot higher G’s and transfer a lot higher load into the wheels than a

BMW would or your Subaru BRZ or whatever else you might be taking to the track that isn’t a Porsche GT car you Lamborghini super tro it probably has wheels from Lamborghini that are of a certain load rating that are quote appropriate for that use and if not then you know that’s Lamborghini’s problem

Not mine I like to use wheel manufacturers that Supply to OEM race car programs one of them was finspeed unfortunately fin speed is no longer that makes me sad because I knew the owner really liked the owner um um the uh finp speed had the contract with Porsche Motorsports to build cup Wheels

Has had it for a long time not a year or two so you know that if you buy wheels from that manufacturer there’s a little bit of homework you don’t have to do because the oems have already been doing it for you so you don’t have to hope

That it’s okay you know same thing with forgeline the most recent Ford GT that just broke the record at um uh Circuit of the Americas which small uh small world funny story uh the driver of that car Ted uh tshp uh has coached multiple times during his tenure at dirtfish so

Small world and he guy was able to go out and run 158 in a car a new car to him at Kota and I’m sorry but anybody can drive under two minutes at Kota is a really good driver cuz that’s got to be a wild ride regardless of how cool the

Car is so um that car has Forge lines and Ford isn’t going to pick Rando cheapest Wheel manufacturer to put on the car so that’s my premise you as a user with your own money buy what the you want I don’t care honestly I don’t care because I I was accused in

This track chat of being elitist and serving Dundon needs not the community’s needs and I’m like y’all I don’t we don’t sell all for Wheels I’m not a wheel seller I don’t care honestly I think we sold we sold some to our buddies sold some to John we sold some

To Doug we sold some to Scott uh I buy most of the wheels for us to test on and beyond that don’t care don’t care um two apex’s defense to their defense they have identified that within their current offerings they did not have an offering that was strong

Enough so within their cast offerings and their forged offerings they came out with another offering that’s called an Enduro that is designed specifically be fear for club sports for GT cars for cars that are running very sticky rubber they had a wonderful video the video was very honest it was very

Forthright it was obviously done by uh what felt like some with a technical background and so I I appreciate and applaud them for that that’s great and it also makes my point that the wheels up until the ones that they just released may not be the strongest ones to put on your

Car but that’s just one man’s opinion in an orange shirt so take that as it might be let’s move on to other things uh let’s put that beautiful Cup car picture up because that thing’s just gorgeous Roger you can’t get rid of this thing I know you’ve talked about it but God damn

That car is just so pretty we got a we can find you some some cheaper tires to run oh speaking of Roger did you get a hold of the the Yoko guys that Mike uh got me the the the details on um if so let me know because I

Wouldn’t mind um not having to spend uh mishy blue uh money on Cup car development uh Ono moving to Yos might not be a horrible thing so um what else what else so we talked about pumpkin a little bit not a lot a little bit anybody’s got questions about

Pumpkins let me know pumpkin our pumpkin not pumpkins in general I don’t really know about pumpkins I know a little bit about that 997 over there that’s orange so um ah on the topic of cup cars uh while Daniel’s here our motch uh ECU swap kit for the 991 chassis will

Get some refinement while he’s here we’ll have our Cup car on the dyno tomorrow um so that should be fun um Daniel’s going to put it through his Paces make sure that the sequential shifts like a sequential and doesn’t spit it guts all over the floor um that

Uh the engine makes power and that should give us uh some opportunities um in Asia uh Daniel is a renowned worldwide race engineer he supports a lot of cars including OEM uh like oems like BMWs GT4 uh programs in Asia and Australia and a couple other

Places um so he’s he’s the real deal and the real and I feel very lucky and honored that he spends time in our little uh hunk of crap 9 6,000 foot Workshop here in Gig Harbor um that hopefully is less a hunk of crap here shortly which we we’ll talk about our

Mezzanine here short we’re going to talk about drawers and mezzanines cuz you know that seems like a reasonable technical thing to talk about to all of you um uh the cup car program is interesting because 991.2 cups can get quite a bit more horsepower quite a substantial bit

More horsepower as we’ve shown here in the states with some of the cars uh tlm racing has been running one lobster mac uh is the name of the car uh David’s a very fast driver um and he doesn’t mind having some extra horsepowers when he needs it so he can drive around those

GT3 RS at Daytona and keep going which is really cool in my opinion that’s really cool so um uh so that should be fun tomorrow and then um Monday he’s going to take a can sniff of the 458 um because those of you that know a little bit about the development of the

458 and why there isn’t a manual transmission for it understand that most of the reason for that is electronics integration the ABS gets bishy the stability control gets bishy the uh electronic differential control gets and essentially that’s all we’ve been doing for pumpkin project is making

Controlit units be happy so that they get the signals they’re looking for they get the in the time that they’re looking for them and you can kind of decouple some of them to stop asking for from everything else and then get when they don’t get it

So as opposed to what others have done which is try to code modules in a factory uh way using you know challenge car files or these kinds of things and trying to make the car happy uh we would take a slightly different slant to it similar to what we’ve done with with

Pumpkin and see if we can’t marry and engage the factory controllers with a translator such that they behave so he’s going to take a can sniff of the 458 before he goes home that’d be a longer term project um but 458 with a manual transmission that is literally an

Electronics module and then the hard Parts would be a game changer for those cars 458 Italia would jump and as Roger and I both know a 458 with a manual is a keeper keeper then they’re not boring at all um it’s not it’s not so bad I’ve

Been going back and forth I take the the back roads home I take the highway to work and the back roads home have been kind of fun been still the trans is still not fun it does not shift like a pdk pdk is surgical this one’s kind of like you pull a paddle

Beast ah let’s talk about tips that’s that’s good Pi so um these are our 718 GT4 and GT4 RS Bolton uh quiet tips for those of you in Northern California and uh unfortunately trying to make sound at certain racetracks that have a lawsuit because they can um this might be a solution for

You they’re on our website under nurur ring tips uh we have a couple others on there that um uh also uh pertain um you got the picture of the Tha Muffler nurburging tips we had a question from a client uh from customer today about how these work

Um so these are similar but they go inside the tips not bolted to it because the tips on the time Muffler are integrated and welded there you can see that it’s kind of the extension of the xpipe as they come out so these bolt on they’re held with a bolt and a spring

And a clip so that they’re allowed to expand and contract with some tension um so that’s uh a handy thing for those of you that have a titanium Muffler and need to meet sound uh the quiet tips are good uh I think Doug said that he

Dropped six or S DB with them I think I think Francis said similar six or seven DB with the uh quiet tips um installed in their titanium loud mufflers um so uh we try and help you guys out with you actually need sometimes not just random that you

Don’t really need you know look at me the guy promoting a company you don’t really need this what are you doing you come on just go drive your car you need that driver mod you don’t need any of our parts but it sure is cool to have them

Um we delivered two which is kind of cool uh dundon’s going racing which is really fun uh we have a partnership with a local team racer on Rails uh we’ve had it for a while now as far as um working together on track days and supporting

One another and these kinds of things um they they have a Cayman a 718 GT4 Club sport that they are entering in wrl and we are providing uh our Arrow package uh they have revalved their MCS shocks and refresh them to be three-way uh I just

Gave memo a uh a bunch of uh upper mounts for the front so they can get some extra camers and upper mounts for the rear so they can get all the camers um we may if within the rule set and tire set get them some extra wide rear

Tires we haven’t talked about that yet uh we also have um a we’ll call it a revised crackpipe um exhaust for the club sports that is more in line with our understandings of how short the secondary needs to be based off of our work on the 4 RS um sounds good

Roger about the Yoko guys um the other car is really quite unique it’s a uh 991.2 Cup car that they have a restrictor and additional weight to it so it can meet class for GTO which is no small fee they have handicapped this I 1.2 cup to no end but they have our

Arrow as well so they’re not fully sponsored but they are sponsored and I’m very happy to have um uh maybe I’m not sure it is an’s car Larry but uh Ro purchased it from an I think she’s moving to a cup car and staying in

Um uh her other class what the hell is it called that Seca I think she’s staying in Seca uh but I don’t know that for certain she might wrl isn’t cheap but it can be very rewarding because it’s endurance racing so little different little different vibe um so

Two cars so far in wrl with uh the dun and arrow package very exciting we’re also sending our kind of super enhanced Arrow package to uh David tuat uh thanks Larry yeah my brain often works sometimes not as well as I hoped it would um although I just had a a check

Up in physical and doc says I’m in really good shape so resting heart rate 59 uh uh blood pressure 108 over 60 I don’t own my cholesterol yet but I eat meat only so I’m not really worried about my cholesterol because I don’t eat sugar um yeah seriously that that’s about the

Pretty wild application of a cup car but it’s kind of inevitable cuz it’s a great car with great um long uh engine refresh hours so it can make some sense to use a cup in that application so um yeah crazy and I don’t ride my bike that often Mike I was surprised I

Think I think honestly it’s a little bit of the stress reliever at night and no caffeine in the morning I took caffeine out of my diet a while ago except for when I’m here and I make myself coffee that happens to have caffeine but generally speaking I don’t drink

Caffeine anymore so um and I’ll take it at 50 it’s that’s good I’ll deal with it uh solid 172 Without Really Trying and almost 6 foot tall so um painting uh so let’s talk about that for a second why is dun going to paint the wheels and Power Coating is better

Because I’m trying to match a vinyl color so that I don’t make this a never- ending project of customization and impossibility I have to match the color of the available 3M whatever the hell it is burnt orange for the graphics that we’re putting on the car and then we will match that

Paint match that vinyl with paint cuz as any of you that have powder coated uh understand that getting custom powder done is not simple and you have to buy a lot of it and it takes longer than somebody that can throw some red in the paint throw some red in the paint and

Off they go oh yeah they’ll be gloss they’ll be shiny they’ll be orange we’ve done this a couple times now so we’re starting to make it so that it’s a little bit uh a little bit better so um telling you Larry if you want to try carnivores the way

That task so that means other didn’t happen that’s the plate of a small business when you reassign somebody it’s not like the the work comes from nowhere so um that said we are seeing that it is very uh informative helpful and well received and we want to continue to do

It so um our friend Gabe whom uh some of you who watched superlap battle at Kota the uh all black GT3 RS that came in third and limited that was piloted by Mr gabes MOA um and he has been a friend and supporter of dun Motorsports and

Vice versa us for him for a long time and he just sent his data his aim um Telemetry data to uh Ted and we’re going to try and piece that together because he’s like the car was a lot quicker this year it’s the fastest it’s ever gone it’s just he was competing

Against an sf90 Ferrari her herrick’s a local guy here he’s he’s our kamakazi uh track guy so whoever uh him and his partner with an sf90 that’s some balls cuz I’ve seen herck go off in giant clouds of dust out in uh at the ridge when he’s pushing his

9981 GT4 and this is a number of years ago and I know her a great guy and he’s a very competent very learned driver um and he’s not going to take that much risk in a $700,000 car versus $8,000 car I would assume I don’t know that with certainty but I would assume

Um uh herck got first at 214 and change uh there was was that an e92 M3 e92 or uh the f one of the F series M3 anyway there was an M3 there fulltime attack car the beautiful thing about what gab’s running is it’s literally what we sell to Street

Car Guys in hdb for high performance driving EVS for HPD and car could go to 7-Eleven get a Slurpee go through the Starbucks drive-thru it’s not so low that it it’s fine they took the interior out of it for weight so it’s a little Spartan on the inside probably a little

Noisy but that’s it beyond that it’s a freaking street car with bolt on you know all the power package bolt on all the arrows bolt on the MCS is what we sell brakes are what we sell all that stuff so we’re going to have um Gabe on

Once we get the data processed once Ted gets through it uh and Gabe is a marine and he’s Brazilian and he’s very opinionated and it’ll probably be a fantastic live CU he much like me speaks his mind and does not really care what you think which is great

Barely worn and you replace them with new you will never wear the cam shaft that’s where the issue comes the finger followers are meant to wear and that’s okay but you got to catch it before you have metal onm metal wear with the cam shaft because as soon as you start to

Wear the cam shaft loobe you get a lot more metal and down in down in the bearing clearances that metal goes and within the oil pump and all kinds of things and it circulates and it causes all kinds of so that’s the gist of that good question Dave so PFC 405

Versus 380 fronts other than wheel size pros and cons so the the premise similar question to the finger follow we’re talking about wear frictional wear a brake is an energy transfer device it’s taking kinetic energy from the car and it’s turning it into heat energy so the only reason to

Use a larger rotor is if you need more capacity for heat conversion that’s the only reason and if a 380 is what works on a cup car 405 is pretty much for Cars and Coffee bling they don’t come that way from the factory except for Ceramics but Ceramics

A different thing it has a different heat capacity um you bet Thomas um the we sell 380 380s even on all of the Lab Rats hooers super cup 3 RS uh I think Gabe was running a 380 380 kit AP equivalent uh running Supercar 3 RS

Running 25s at Kota so Dave honestly I would say 380 is more than enough the nice thing about Porscha is they come with really great break cooling other Marques do not and so because they come with brake Cooling and Porscha thought about this you don’t have

To fix it with more thermal Mass so you don’t you don’t have to fix it that way you can just put the smaller disc on great bias the bias between uh a 405 and a 380 is more about the swept area of the pad than it is the size of the rotor so
