I was recently given this bike and I plan to build it up as a bike to use for when I’m at university. I was wondering if anyone was can identify what frame this is as I am curious.
I have attached a load of pictures and would be grateful for any help you guys can give!
The serial numbers on the bike are

the D is in brackets because I couldn’t tell if it was a D or 0

Looks like a Rivendell by the tube lug patterns, but it’s hard to tell.
Hard to say what it is, although I’d guess it’s probably a frame made in the UK in the late 1960s or early 1970s, such as a Mercian. It also might be a really nice Japanese frame from that era.
The rear dropouts are long, in the style of the Campagnolo 1010a. These were mostly used in the 1960s through the mid 1970s. The braze-on on the bottom bracket guides also similar to ones Campagnolo offered around the same era. The fork braze-on is for a light, and these were pretty rare on derailleur bicycle frames after the early 1970s.
The fork crown appears to be high quality.
The brake bridge appears to be curved, but a close-up it would be nice.
Other things that’d help identify the frame or at least the country of origin would be the threading. I’m going to assume, just on appearance, that it has British threading for the bottom bracket and the fork, which UK and Japanese frames used. Knowing the the inside diameter of the seat tube. If it is a from the UK, then the seat post diameter needed would be 27.2 mm (or possibly 27.0). Japanese frames of the era often used slightly smalled seatposts, such as 26.8 or 26.6.
