There is only a transparent finish (no paint), that is why you are seeing the carbon lay up. Same on my aeroad with same colors letters by the way. Enjoy your bike and don’t worry!

I know this is done on purpose, but why? I feel like painted matte black looks so much better. Like that head tube is a bit odd looking in my opinion.

The first pic looks great, that’s just carbon. I don’t like the scuff on the front in the second and third pic – it’s definitely just cosmetic, but for $8000 I’d expect better. That’s 1/3 of the price of a car, and if a new car had a scuff like that I’d refuse delivery for sure.
