Did you have to change the bottom bracket to change the cranks? Which one did you use if you did?

Beautiful build, well done! I will say this, though, that Supacaz bar tape is not nearly as durable as one would hope. I’ve wrapped my handlebars with the same color as you twice now (I’m vain and those colors look best on my bike + I’m a slow learner) and each time it’s only lasted about 6 months or so before disintegrating. Granted I commute by bike in the PNW so the moisture and friction aren’t doing me any favors, but it’s still a bummer. I don’t want to rain on your parade though! It looks sick and that’s worth something in and of itself, imo lol

$200 carbon moustache bars on a 90s MTB is peak xbiking, congratulations

All jokes aside this is an awesome build and I wish it was in my stable!

How do you like the mustache bars? I had them with drop bar brifters at the top but just swapped out for a different bar instead when I got some standard components.

Looks great. I wish I could ride geo like that, but my neck requires a near upright seating position. I have to raise my bars around 1cm a year. I figure I’ll have to go recumbent eventually
