I tried doing all the advice you gave me from my first How to Manual post(can’t seem to edit it so I made a new one).
Instead of pulling the HB, I just preload my legs then lean back with my arms fully extended. First part was me struggling how to properly modulate the rear brake so not to loop out. Second part was me still struggling to extend my arms more but I can see myself inproving as its no longer fully bent when I lift my front wheels unlike in my first post.
Any tips on how to practice modulating the brakes? Even though in my mind I just squeeze it really really light I still make a full stop just like in the first part of the video. But I see great improvements just by following all your great tips. Thank you!
More tips please 🙂
Im excited to do more drills as I can see myself trying to learn bunnyhops after I master this one(real reason I’m learning the manual)

You’re getting homie! Just need practice with modulation, pretty hard to coach that via the internet. I only use 1 finger for manuals, you don’t need a lot of brake to bring the front end down, just a smidge.
Give a few attempts at looping out backwards on purpose, and try to hop off the pedals backwards to land on your feet. Getting comfy looping out will give you more confidence at the balance point and hopefully prevent you from getting caught in the rear wheel again.
