working on this bike that a friend bought off some dude. Shifting was always crap on the trail so i offered to take it home and tweak. The derailer was always crap for the normal reasons: cable tension, limit screws, slight bend. Now it’s ok but the derailer body where it says SLX is always slanting down super much in any gear, and in the lowest the top pulley doesnt even touch the chain! The B screw is pretty much doing nothing, as driving it in just makes it even further than the cassette.

derailleur isn’t mounted correctly. the B-Link should be almost horizontal. this one is pointing to 10 o’clock.
