Firstly, blew up the original 2.3 kenda inner tube (2nd picture) shrader valve was at 60psi when pumping, about 3 years old. Then had a new presta valve inner tube pirelli 2.4/2.6, there is a harder lining around the presta valve and put that on and half way the inner tube popped out. I’m thinking the bead just isn’t sitting properly because of the harder bit around the presta valve or should I just not be putting presta valve inner tubes on this particular rim? Just some home brand bontrager.

I know what you mean about the hard bit around the tube valve. How wide is your rim edge to edge? I’m thinking it’s too narrow to accommodate both the tube and the thickness of the tyre beads.
