6 months ago had emergency surgery and 3 screws put in hip after a fall (turning on wet grass, slid out, full impact on hip, couldn’t unclip in time). I’m 67 and I thought hip fractures were only for old people. So goal was to do my first century ride within a year post op. Working up to it with km century first. Highly recommend this 66 mile round trip trail (2.2K elev) from Abingdon VA to White Top mtn. Open UP Di2. Notice, no more clip in.

How was it without clipping in? Have you tried toe clips? I used those on my first bike touring adventure.
That’s a great ride! How long did it take ya? Looking at doing this as one of my first longer rides as well.
