I’ve seen a few 3T Exploro Racemax’s on this sub so wanted to raise awareness of an issue found on my model (manufactured Q1 2021) where the BB shell is bored too wide for the BB386 that came fitted. An assessment by my LBS showed that it was 0.4mm to large on the non-drive side and 0.9mm on the drive side. The BB has been rubbing the inside of the frame because of this, wearing the carbon from the inside. Fortunately it can be repaired by a specialist so I would recommend anyone with this model checking their BB shells sizes and for any signs of wear inside. Remarkably there wasn’t any obvious rubbing sound for the 2.5 years I’ve been riding it.
