I was deciding between the Neuron and the Spectral for a ‘one bike’ solution but in the end, decided that the Neuron was more matched to my skill level.
Since then, I’ve made a few modifications to make it a bit more capable on the rough stuff.
35mm stem, riser bars and chunkier tyres for a bit extra when the terrain gets gnarly.

Did you also upgrade to XT or was that a build option from factory? That color is also pretty rad, not sure I’ve seen that.
Im waiting until a 100-110kg person can tell me if the neuron is great for the weight. The spectral is too overkill for me, but maybe it would fit as my skill increases (I ride blue trails with a fully rigid bike, so idk what happens with a spectral tbh, but Im also a coward… but experiences shape the mind)
I love the look and the sportiness of the neuron, the spectral looks so slow and non agile for xc and all mtn
