Hello, this was written to be a review for canyon on their website. But after looking around and even logging in, there seems to be no option for a review. Typical canyon I guess.

I highly highly highly recommend NOT purchasing this bike. I recently just found a crack on my down tube after about a month of total riding. The best part is, this is my second spectral frame from canyon. The first one I bought was in March of 2023, and it lasted me until August 2023. Only 5 months of riding. I work as a mountain bike guide in Copper Harbor Michigan, so by no means are our trails friendly to bikes. But I never took a hard crash, only one slide out as I recall. This second frame – like I mentioned – had only about 15 total days of riding on it. And I ride well in the means of this “level 4 bike classification” So, I warn all the riders who want to buy a mountain bike that’s built to withstand “very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds” this bike is not for you. I’d rephrase that to “can handle moderate bumps, small jumps, and the occasional drop.” That would be more fitting. As much as I don’t want to be writing this, two frame cracks under a year is just unacceptable. Despite the awful quality of these frames, I must say the service center was very helpful, I’m not sure if it was just incredibly obvious in both circumstances but they didn’t make too much of a hassle. I have to shout out Eric and Nick for being helpful during these processes. Thank you canyon for being my first real mountain bike, and giving me the opportunity to grow as a rider in the time I was allowed. But never again will I buy your product, and can confidently say, throughout the hundreds of mountain bikers and customers I talk to, your brand will be discredited time and time again.
