Hey folks. Well, it’s my turn getting your advise.
I’m 190(sometimes 189😀) cm and with 90cm inseam and a few days ago received my first gravel bike. It’s Grizl 8 1by AL.
It’s my first gravel bike and came from MTB/Enduro/Downhill but it’s time to stepping out from those disciplines.
So, it’s size L.
My concern about size. I rode Trek FX 2 Disc in size XL and it’s perfect. I used to ride Commuter 3 in XL and it was great (or I was a little stretchy).
Now, I’m looking at the bike and thinking did I pick up the right size or not. I compared to Trek, and top tube, seat tube, chain stay are about the same. However, Trek does flatbar head tube length +20mm and it feels different.
I read mostly all threads in subreddits and everyone says go with a smaller one. BTW, I’m between sizes L and XL.
Any thoughts for newcomer is greatly helpful.
