  1. The easiest way to get your saddle height at least close to right is sit on the bike, put your heel on a pedal and rotate the bottom. In that position your leg should be fully extended and ‘locked out’. Then when move your foot to the correct position on the pedal your leg should have a slight bend at the lowest part of the pedal stroke. From that position you might need some further adjustment if you’re getting pain but for most people it’s usually pretty close to right.

    Setting your handlebar height is more complicated… It depends on your fitness, flexibility, riding style etc…
