Need something that can be taken on and off many times a day that looks somewhat nice/professional. Kind of a briefcase or handbag look.

Looking nice and professional is pretty subjective. Ortlieb and Topeak make QR handlebar bags. You can get a handlebar cargo rack and put any bag on it.
If you want something in nice leather and a bit more “old school academia” style I suggest [Gusti Leder](https://www.gusti-leather.com/bike/?p=7)
I have a handlebar satchel bag with a Klickflix quick release adapter and it works great!!
