I have a Marin Gestalt from 2020, which is listed as compatible with 650bx47c tires on WTB’s website. I have also seen some 650bx47c setups, but only with a 1x. I’m not sure there’s enough room around the front derailleur on my bike. The space between the derailleur and the tire is around 1.2cm with my 700x30mm wheels. What do you think ?

Some 650b tires run a tad larger than others, it also depends on the width of the rim inner and outer, tubeless or tubed and so on. I definitely would run a 2X setup with such small clearance.
With the FD set for the small ring, does the inner cage extend past the inside of the chain stay?
I feel like printing the first picture and hanging in my wall lol. Going to be tight.
