I’ve been commuting by bike for about ten years now. Two years ago my commute went from 5 miles one way to 22 so I converted my Breezer to an electric. A lot of fun but a project and not nearly as reliable as the Bianchi I replaced it with. The brakes weren’t up to the task, the battery mount put too much strain on the bosses, but mostly I was going through a chain every six weeks.

Bianchi support when needed has been… sluggish. The Bosch system while annoyingly restrictive has been reliable though and I’ve ridden 7k miles in it and it’s been rock solid.

And sometimes, when I want a bit more exercise, I ride the lauf seigla into work.
