It’s been a while since I’ve tinkered around with vintage stuff. I’m building a frame up for my wife that I purchased on ebay and pulling parts out of my parts bin to do it. I swear I had bars that would fit a 1″ quilt stem, but IDK. Where did they go? Who knows? Anyway, what size bar do I need?

Most vintage 1” road quill stems are a 26.0mm clamp. Some French and Italian stems have a different ID. If you have a micrometer you should measure the ID of the stem.
Most 1” MTB/City stems will be a 25.4mm bar clamp.
How tall is your wife?
That looks like a big tall bike!
Cinelli is the oddball at 26.4mm
Most other Italians are 26.0 or 25.8? Basically the same.
SR Sakai, etc is 25.4
