    Its great. Keep it up. You will find that that time will drop as you get fitter & then you will be hooked & be disappointed that you missed a day! What bike are you using? What tyres??

  2. If it’s more exercise than you were doing otherwise then great. That’s all that matters. Do note though that as with anything – abs are made in the kitchen.

    Remember though that this is a commuting sub and not an exercise or sport sub. Personally exercise is a handy side effect of how I choose to get from A to B and not the main goal.

    Just keep training. It won’t make it easier, but it will make you ride faster.

    This is very similar to my daily commute. You’ll find that your speed goes up and your time goes down before you know it. Remember to eat and stay hydrated. Your legs will thank you.

    Why would you ever plan to take the bus again?

    Not including a trip to London, I think I’ve taken a bus less than a dozen times since I started commuting by bike 30 years ago.
