I’m considering both the Maverick Jedan SS and the Surly steamroller for a tracklocross build, what would you guys go for? Experiencies with any of these two? What other framesets would you recommend in this pricepoint?

I’ve owned both and currently own the Jedan. I would buy a Jedan again over another Surly. They’re both great bikes, and you’d certainly enjoy either, but I’ve put nearly 2500 miles on my Jedan, and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it. The differences aren’t major, but the Jedan has the better tubeset, I think, and although it’s not a major difference on longer rides, I feel a little less beat up compared to the Steamroller I had. Also, everyone knows Surly, so you get more interest in the Maverick frame for whatever that’s worth, lol.
New? Unfortunately the Steamroller is probably no longer an option, as they’ve been discontinued and now are hard to come by.
