Imogen Cotter, Professional cyclist, Skoda ambassador and crash survivor tells of her experience of being hit by an oncoming vehicle while cycling and the injuries that she sustained. Imogen asks that drivers see that people cycling are real people who have dreams, goals and people that they love so slow down and give the space to ride safe.
My name is imag cter I was hit head on by a car in Spain on a training ride there’s a real disconnect between cyclists and drivers when drivers see cyclists they need to be able to humanize them what happened to me can be a lesson to someone at home to slow down
And realize there’s a life behind the cyclist you see on the road they’re people they have whole lives and if this can just make you know one person slow Down
