Welcome to bearinger for the final stage of the balwaz belgium tour this is stage five start in turn how to finish in bearing a three local lapse of 22.6 kilometers we have our super 8 checkpoint sprints and of course that golden kilometer to get some last

Seconds towards the gc a very flat stage for the sprinters here just like two years ago when brian kokar won this stage after a very fast first hour 50k average we have a breakaway of five with corn from castle cyril ryan camp piotr havoc and jordi bouts

But the teams of the sprinters keep everything under control because today is a chance for those sprinters le mois and bouts are the last riders of that breakaway of five getting caught and then we have the blue train going towards the finish line the golden kilometer which sprints between tone

Arts and edith schelling and the rider of borah hansgrohe gets enough seconds to move up to fifth place in the gc then we go towards the final after day stage with a peloton led by lucas visniowski followed by lotto sudahl aiming for that third consecutive win by

Caleb ewan but also the boys in blue the koenig quickstep with mikhail merkel leading out mark cavendish and swerving from one side to the other is tim merlier sprinting on one side of the road versus mark cavendish on the other side of the road caleb ewan tries grunover tries but it’s mark cavendish

On his way to his 151st career win and he is as happy with it as if it’s the first one he got all those years back fantastic sprint victory and look at that some head-butting between josper de baust and tim merlier with melia on the right side of the road and

The coding quick step with mark cavenish on the left side spreading out of control is a gearing problem there and is very angry for missing this opportunity to win his first stage back after that suspension but the winner of today is mark cavenish and look how happy he is with this fantastic victory

Melia and akamon joined him on the podium and then grunovua nico vemas bonifacio yuan and von popel some great sprinters in that top 10 today the final podium is remko even pool defending his title eve lompar joining him and johnny marshall in third place for tartaleto israelites

And jasper the boss in the top ten of the balwa’s belgium tour caleb ewan won two stages and takes home the points classification cedric bowlens is the winner of the super 8 checkpoint jersey and after a fantastic week in belgium with that opening win by robert that

Fantastic time trial battle by even pool and lombard two wins for kw and a fantastic sprint victory today for mark cavendish and remco even pool back after his crash in lombardia with the overall win in the belgium tour You

  1. Ackermann is so bad this season. Can't even get out of the slipstream. But really impressive by Cav winning against Merlier head to head. Maybe he could even get a World Tour win this year. He should go to Poland maybe

  2. We get it – you're european and can pronounce the names of the riders. Can you actually provide some commentary, rather than just describing what just happened on our screen about 3 seconds late? It's like you're commentating purely from watching the highlights and haven't actually watched the stage.

  3. What a remarkably intelligent and well-spoken commentator. Clearly she is fluently multilingual. I'd guess her mother tongue is Belgian or Dutch – being that they are well known multilinguals – but her RP British English sounds flawless to my American ears at least. Chapeau 🍻

  4. Pronounciation is perfect obviously of the Dutch / Flemish names but it's really hard to understand if you don't speak the language. The hybridised (butchered) versions of English first language presenters is actually easier to understand.

  5. Cav has had the usual reduction of speed that comes with being in your mid 30's. But he was so fast in his prime that the reduction in speed has just brought him down to everyone else's level so at least sprint's are fair now. If the missile launched 10 years ago there was no hope for you 😂
