I keep getting blasted with ads for this sweet pinarello gravel bike. It’s using the Ekar 1×13 group set which I’m guessing is why these are so discounted. I have an awesome Canondale Supersix EVO Se with 2x electronic shifting. Is there any reason to think the Grevil is an upgrade? I know it makes no rational sense but that Grevil is badass. At $3700, it would probably be fairly easy to sell the other one.

Keep in mind that Ekar uses a weird shifting in the hoods and the parts can be difficult to find and expensive. I don’t have any opinions on the bike, I just wanted you to know that.
Personnaly i would never buy a Pinarello, there is some wayyyy better bike out there for the same price. Pinarello is way overated and they are not performing that well at all.
And about the look: the look is boring AF.
Check for small boutique brand that people really try to make some special bike because they have to make some special bike to be able to sell it.
Facebook ads are mostly scams, this is a common knowledge
I agree it makes no sense but would be awesome. Just ask yourself if this does anything your Cannondale doesn’t. If not I would say the purchase would fall into the category of over-consumption. The only way i personally would be able to justify it is if I didn’t have a dedicated road bike and put road wheels/tires on the Cannondale and kept the pinarello for gravel.
Check out the Orbea Terra, they’re sick
