Yesterday, I asked this community for advice on how to get started commuting by bike. The responses were astounding. I learned a lot, and was reminded of so much.
I decided to analyze the responses more carefully. I combined classical techniques (spreadsheets, Regex) and new ones: Anthropic’s AI model, to study the responses.
Here’s the report if you are curious: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T-J8AqbjfYRs207h6yCTOK2-3iu8N7lMkjbV99NiSRo/edit?usp=sharing](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T-J8AqbjfYRs207h6yCTOK2-3iu8N7lMkjbV99NiSRo/edit?usp=sharing)
Clearly the barriers to change are great, many are psychological, many are structural, some are just plain physical facts of the universe. If youre wondering why I am doing this, it’s because I believe in a better future, where people live better through cycling and other forms of active transport. I am so thankful for this community –that you’re here that you support strangers and friends in their quest for a better life.

I feel dirty.
So this was some sort of research experiment, rather than an actual question?
