Finally built up my most anticipated frame! Wanted a proper gravel grinder and found this old Trek CX bike on bikelist. Scooped it up. Found out it had some rewelds after I bought but don’t really care. Sold a modern road bike to buy some of the parts.
She ain’t well matched in color and all but I am beyond excited to rip up some NH gravel on this bad boy!!

That thing is pretty rad. I think the rewards make it more awesome.
correct me if i’m wrong on the brakes w/ the travel adjuster – you should only need that if you’re running a drop brake w/ a mountain style v brake. If you get a mini-v brake, your levers should work and overall should work better. The mini-v’s i had on my old Redline SS cross bike (should not have sold 🙁 ) stopped so hard.
I had a travel adjuster at one time and it was just garbage. might be my experience.
45c tyres should fit w/ a mini-v if you need some gerth.
and that shit said….. sick build!!
