Ok I know nothing about bikes. I just got a FX3 yesterday but there was a loose part so I took to the shop. Now I am home and I can’t seem to put the front wheel back on. When I look at the front brake there seems to be a red plastic thing. Is that normal?
There doesn’t seem to be any space for the disc to fit. Please help. I am a newbie.

That’s a brake spacer/wedge for when the wheel/rotor is removed. Just take it out and hang on to it as you might need it in the future.
DO NOT press the brake levers without the spacer or wheel in.
To be clear the steps I need to do are:
1) take out the metal pin
2) take out the red plastic
3) put the metal pin back in
4) put the front wheel
What’s the easiest way to remove the metal pin? Thanks
