Bit difficult to tell from the pictures but after I cleaned the grease out it’s safe to say they’re more than pitted. Am I right in assuming I can knock out these black cup races from the frame and then pop in some sealed bearings??
It feels like there’s a machine lip on the inside of the headset just below where the caged bearing races sit.
