All right quick lesson about the clutch whenever you’re doing slow speed turns everyone so a lot of people use all four fingers on the clutch and they pull it all the way in and all the way back out those are two big problems first of all
You only need two or three fingers and the friction zone is only about this far literally maybe an inch maybe a half inch so whenever you’re practicing no power power no power power if you feel like the bike is going to fall and you want to put your foot down ease out the
Clutch a little bit give the bike power pull it back in to slow yourself down it’s all right there

Not all bikes are built the same.
no need to use rear brake while dealing slow speed turns?
I usually use 3 fingers for the clutch, 2 fingers for the brake and during slow speed manoeuvres I ride the rear brake
Doesn't really matter how many fingers but yeah.
What I do is just use rear break -> clutch-> low a gear-> and then turn isn't it supposed to be my way.
Man pls explain how is breaking done on super lean angle corners pls ๐ฅฒ and yes pls use basic terms such as throttle, break, etc. ๐ I always don't understand when I am really in a mood of knowing something too bad๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Might paint a thin line between handle and mount at beginning and end of friction zone to quickly see where I am โIn the zone.โ while starting out to visualize that feel more quickly so muscle memory can occur more quickly.๐ good visual.
The reason why itโs considered better to use less fingers is it gives you finer inputs. But I think it makes sense for a beginner to use whole hand because it feels safe
My triumph forces me to 4 finger the clutch since the friction zone is the first inch of travel.
Look at Mr Normal sized hands here. Those of us blessed with fairy digits have to grip and rip with all 4 man. I'll cramp up in traffic trying with 2
What if the motorcycle is new and the clutch is smooth and it works great, then it goes in for the first service at 600 miles, and the clutch hops in first gear until you let it out all the way?
The clutch works good in second, third, forth, fifth, and sixth.
You would know if you did circles
"Quick lesson" – and proceeds to make a weak statement about mechanics.
My mistake is i always let go of the clutch whenever i feel like the bike is about to fall lol
Try that in heavy traffic
This probably wouldโve saved me from falling yesterday
Biting point
No wonder the ladies love you biker boys ๐คฃ
Keep the clutch and throttle 5% engaged when shifting. That makes the shifts smooth & seamless.
If we take 3 fingers on clutch it is 99 % gurantee that gear box may break into pieces
What happens if we change free play of clutch. Does that affects cable or anything else???
Idc my professional trainer said use all 4, thanks
