Bought a new pair or Specialized shoes, I was surprised to find they came with cleats, but even more surprised to find only one screw in each? Am I missing something (other than two screws)? 🤔

Are you sure that they are not **plastic-shaped cleats**? Some of my previous shoes had them just for show (*or to make sure people dont get the wrong kind*). When you buy the actual cleats, they come with all the hardware that you need.
They look like plastic. Generally, if a shoe comes with cleats, the cleats will be in a little baggie in the box.
Specialized doesn’t know what kind of pedals you use…
Those aren’t cleats…
