Description of the bike:
1990 26” Marin Muirwoods totally restored. Medium. Frame was sandblasted and sealed. Over $1000 in just new components. The following components are BRAND NEW: new Surly fork with many attachment points, new 1×9, new brake levers, new shifters, new Crust Harvey Riser bars or new Velo Orange Klunker bars shown in last photo, new Marin metal frame badge, new wheels, new WTB Trail Boss 2.25 tires, new seat post, new Velo Orange stem, new headset, new Velo Orange Pedals, new grips. Brooks saddle not sold with bike. Rides like a brand new bike and would make a good city bike, commuter bike, gravel bike, mountain bike. Surly fork has tons of attachment points to add a front rack.

Absolutely. The tires, pedals, and fork would cost most of that.
Yes, that’s a sick deal for the parts on there!
Good price for the build. I don’t love the look of the black fork and often times an aftermarket fork can throw off the geometry. At a minimum, I’d take it for a spin around a parking lot to make sure it turns and handles okay. If you like it, for it. For me, it’s a hard pass without the Brooks included.
I would
Yes.
That’s a good deal.

The box prime drive train is darn good and over $200 alone.
Unless you have a better option I would.
