I know… It’s still unfinished… But I couldn’t wait longer. After building my first bike ever a couple weeks ago. And after all the good feedback I decided to build another one.

This time I started from frame only! I used the wheels of the original Trek 830 since I upgraded that one to 1×10.

I had to search for a fork from my LBS and this is what I had to put new:

– new seatpost
– KTM saddle Sport (same as Trek 830 build)
– Decathlon plastic pedals
– Truvativ E400 38T crankset
– new Shimano BB
– adaptor from threaded to threadless
– A-head from Decathlon
– Trektro RL340 brakes
– Shimano Deore LX Cantilever
– Maxxis DTH 26×2.30 tires (double compound front – single compound rear)
– SL-A050 7-speed shifter
– Ritchey Comp Beacon handlebar (size 42cm)
– Decathlon carbon grip.

What I need to finish? Bolts to install the front brakes on the fork. I’m pretty satisfied in building my first two bikes in only 3 months. But now I will stop for a while and enjoy the builds in between.

Did you like it? What should I improve?
