I took my youngest son bikepacking a couple times last year and he needed some wheels, so what else could I do but justify a spare parts xbike? It also has a mix n’ match Oveja Negra tail bag that completes the look pretty well, and I’ve since put Ultradynamico tires on it (no real reason, more or less felt like it). Norco Bigfoot frame, Surly Ogre fork.

Is he 6’7″?
What’s the consensus on basket position and balance? I bikepacked with a front basket set low and away from my headtube and I shimmied the whole time, should baskets be higher and closer then?
