The paint suggests 80s or early 90s but I couldnt find a catalogue of those years.
I’m going to fix it up for some bikepacking trips in Europe this summer.
The best way to time old bikes is to check components model number (like 93/94 LX has m-563 code on it) and then check Shimano catalogue. Giant catalogues are also available online so you can check those. By the colourway my guess is 96

Vintage Giant catalogs are hard to find on the internet.
Those RapidFire plus shifters and that shape of canti brake is from the mid 1990s. A pic of the rear derailleur would have been more helpful
