  2. The Cadillac Sour Lyme Mix

If you want/need something to do this Memorial Day weekend.

    Saturday May 25th

    Portland Maine

    What you can expect:

    120+/- mi

7000’ +/- elevation (don’t trust what ride with gps says)

Currently 55% off road (this is mixed terrain, don’t expect beautiful gravel roads the whole time)

    Puddles of questionable depths

    Thorns!

The finest and worst single track

Maybe a little ‘‘light’ TrEsPaSsInG (Shhhhh!)

Good old fashioned type 2 fun

    I guarantee ticks

Start when and where you want or maybe a group roll out if enough people are interested?

Ride as much or as little as you want.

If you plan on doing the full route anticipate 10+ hrs. That is not a joke.

If you’re not going to do the full route, I’d suggest the second half over the first.

There are several well-spaced options to refuel.

You are never far from a main road, so it’s easy to bail. But you’re not a quitter.

It is expected you have experience being a self supported rider. Flats and mechanicals can and will happen

Wear a helmet (Do I really need to explain this?)

If you want a link to the route ((when it’s finished)) all I ask is for you to send me a photo of you cleaning up some litter.

If enough people seem like they are going to participate I’ll stash some fireball nips and edibles around mile 100 so you can enjoy the final push.

Use this link to submit your clean up pic and get on the email list:
