My father is allowing me to put my bike next to his motorcycle in his outside garage (?). The fence however can be clambered over, I’ve done it myself to rescue our kitten (fell down and couldn’t move). Would somebody looking to steal a bike somehow be able to get it out of there? Say, by taking it apart and bringing the pieces over the fence?

Lock it to something.
Make it more inconvenient than it’s worth.
Lock it well and bring the wheel in with you.
Consider insider threats. Never trust your Dad! (Source: I’m a Dad 🙂 Lock it well, and lock or remove the easily removable parts, as mentioned by all the other commenters.
How much is it worth?
I’m guessing more than the 60 seconds of labour it would take 2 people to jump the fence and pass it over. They don’t care about scratching the bike.
