Welcome to the byway Nomad my name is Tony Ferrari and thank you for watching my Videos this is burner’s roading Road um or more formly abs bamp and burners roading byway 31 it starts as quite a smooth um unsealed metaled track as you can see it’s pretty wide as well and the reason for this being it’s the access to some property um this very soon appears on
The left hand side it does look a bit like you’re going through someone’s Garden but once you pass this you’ll see that the lane Narrows down considerably and although there is still a metal surface obviously there’s a lot more soil and grass over the top of it
And you certainly wouldn’t want to take a four-wheeled vehicle along here if you had any pride in the paintwork um is likely get rather scratched the lane continues pretty much in this fashion until it comes to a right hand Bend and then it starts to open up a
Little bit um the surface seems to improve um still that unsealed metal surface but you can see much wider now running between trees now if you look here there’s a small puddle and one good feature of this Lane is that even after a very heavy rain
Which this ride was the surface does not hold that water so it’s a pretty much an all weather route that you can use all year round it Narrows down a little bit where the lane Kinks and then carries on in the same fashion in total it’s 1,85 m in
Length or 1.12 mi in old money the lane continues in very much the same fashion quite Broad and well surfaced and then at a sharp leftand turn it joins a more substantial Farm track there’s no RightWay for vehicles to the right hand side that’s actually a foot
Paath and private track you can see now it’s a a much wider more substantially surfaced Lane although there are quite a few potholes that do hold water ironically you very soon approach um deer cottages on the left hand side and at this point the lane switches to tarmac and becomes
Indicated as a yellow road on the OS Maps thanks for watching the video if you liked it please remember to subscribe hit that Bell so that you get notifications when new videos come up and um have a look at the website www. byway nomad. co.uk and um maybe see you out on the
