Was biking home as I do everyday and my All-city crank snapped. Thought I bought a decent crankset but now I don’t trust myself. Got a new bottom bracket and used crankset but just wondering if I did something wrong or what to avoid to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

This actually shows how incredibly strong your cranks are, and that BB axle must’ve been made of some chinesium
this is why the Andel (rebranded as all city) cranks are the best value cranks. The spindle snapped before the cranks!
Happened to me recently — didnt need a new crankset like I was told, just some screw which costs 3-8€ here. Not sure if thats Your case tho, I guess mine happened bc the crank wasn’t attached properly

I have the same exact cranks. Still works fine after using it for more than a decade.
