Long day we get a little hungry so we start our search for food we end up finding a really neat jazz club called Radio Bar in the center of Tirana yeah and we even had a chance to meet one of our favorite actors hello my name is Michael Kai
You cracked me up Scott anyway the next morning we jump on another bus and head to the biking capital of Albania skodar Lake what’s up Amelia whoa after the bus ride we head into downtown skoda to see what we can find and you end up finding this funny man how

Like most castles in the Balkans where is zafa Castle was ruled by many different nations through history including but not limited to the illyrians the Romans the byzantines the serbians the zadens the venetians the Ottoman Empire the montenegards and now the albaces it’s true I should know On the way down from the castle we met two super nice Mormon missionaries who gave us a lot of good tips on where to find the cheapest booze and cigarettes boy those guys were swell S Is green [Applause] after a bad case of the Sunday scaries we decided to take a break from drinking and smoking with their new friends and start a search for bikes it looks like it fits you pretty well it’s a little tall but it’s it’s uh you want me to grab your backpack okay
All right Amelia’s new bike no you’re good all right babe be safe you look like a local already Amelia meet us at the other bike store where my bike’s at sweet um after a long search I finally found the only bike in skodar that would fit me unfortunately the seller decided to
Go to the beach at the same exact time we agreed to meet so I met with his father instead we mostly discussed how his son often hurts those closest to him by breaking promises and that my hurt feelings were totally valid and reasonable given this circumstance after bonding over our mutual
Disappointment in his son he ended up being a vicious salesman and I paid way more than I should have for this bike okay we are all ready to go you know he’s got her bag all packed up got her paneer is in the back there my bike’s ready to go now um
It says it’s a good relief which is a German bike not sure if it’s actually one I think it is uh looks legit and you’ll get to see our 100 hard body touring by itself in about two weeks that was later determined to be a lie
The first leg of the trip will take us from shkodar Lake to Kotor Montenegro which is about 67 miles with a few thousand feet of elevation gain on our way to Montenegro we made it across the border relatively quickly but we still had about 10 miles of mountainous terrain to get to our
Destination for the night didn’t even uh touch or look at our passports so if you ever want to smuggle drugs in the Balkans apparently uh Albania the Montenegro and border is the place to do it of course we’ve been riding for about two hours it’s about 100 degrees out here already yeah

And we have a big tunnel to go through Mountain that’s sure that’s for sure oh my God oh my goodness wild to climb all right still cycling still cycling up these mountains I wish I could go and swim out to that rock but it is way too far downhill and

Decided to take in some of these incredible sights thank you Foreign well that’s about enough of that so we wake up the next day pack up and start heading towards our next destination Dubrovnik Croatia luckily for us the ride out of your Couture is mostly flat and follows the Contours of the bay the entire way this
Is why we wanted to come to Montenegro specifically Kotor Sir to get to the other side of the bay we had to take a ferry which only cost us about two US dollars each the ferry took about 10 minutes but saved us about two and a half hours of biking Italy so after a few more hours of
Writing we start to approach the Croatian border all right Croatian border hopefully they just let us through like the Montenegro instead we’ll see and just like that we cross into Croatia boy am I thankful the guardsmith find the 6.3 pounds of hash we were smuggling for our Mormon friends
Nice and cool and crazy I like it these raindrops are really fat it keeps slapping me in the face like a fat dick any Hoosier wetzer after a few hours of riding in Croatia we decided to stop and grab a little bite to eat and here’s a herd of goats
After we fuel up we start our final push to Dubrovnik which actually leads us into an unexpected Trail oh my God we just found an actual godsend here it’s hard to explain but we’ve been going up and down these coastal mountains in Croatia and the very last four kilometers to get
Into Croatia is just absolutely straight up despite what Google and that other shitty app I use kamut tell me they said there’s zero [ __ ] mountains here there are insane mountains here it just keeps doing it I’m gonna get off because it’s like there’s so much energy
Coming back into the line wow our own little dedicated bike path in Croatia look at that holy [ __ ] look at that so we are four kilometers from Dubrovnik according to Google yeah so far so good I see it too it’s kind of hard to ride with one hand I see it thanks you
Come along with doggy behind you all joking aside this little detour path was truly a godsend it wasn’t marked on any maps and saved us at least one and a half hours of climbing instead we enjoyed a Scenic ride with no cars and incredible views oh dang
I mean this is like Big Sur but on steroids sorry Big Sur but this is a lot prettier what are you doing Kitty oh my God casterly Rock [Applause] after visiting as many Game of Thrones filming locations as we could we decided to head back to the Airbnb and take a dip in the Ice Cold Mountain spring next door as we recharge and reflect on the incredible week we can’t help but to ponder the journey North to Bosnia and
