So, got the new Revolt Advanced 2, largely cause I love that Starry Night color, and should have bought that in the first place. Got a great deal on it, less than I paid for this bike.
But I love this color too, this is the Revolt Advanced 3 that I bought last May. And I just love how it rides, so much that when doing a ride in winter, or in the rain, I’d want to ride this bike, rather than the Soma Double Cross Disc I have been using as my winter beater/rain bike. So, time to repurpose the fleet. I’m selling off three of my bikes, my first road bike, a Specialized Sirrus, my old steel Stumpjumper, and the Soma.
This bike will be taking the Soma’s place. Put the stock wheels back on, as they’ll be fine for trudging through slop and rain. Got a set of Velo Orange hammered fenders which are so nice. Had SKS on the Soma, but wanted to try these, and thought they’d be classier for the Revolt. The SKS would rattle and clatter over every bump, but these are dead quiet. And they look beautiful. And this bike is just a joy to ride.

Those fenders look sick! (As does the rest of the bike)
