Hi there, I have tektro spyre mechanical brakes. I recently replaced my front disc rotor from a 160mm 6 bolt tektro to a 160mm 6 bolt Shimano XT one.
I think that was my first mistake… as now the rotors are very close to clipping the back of the caliper and the pads aren’t touching the part of the rotor they should be touching (2nd pic)
I tried to readjust (1st pic) and I have noticed that if I had some type of spacer at the front (think it’s a 5 degree angle) then it could work.
So should I add washers or a spacer with a new longer bolt or is getting a different caliper mount than the f160 a better way to go about it. I’m not sure how the mounting system works (r160, f160, pm to FM etc)
