Local shop is offering this bike for $529. It’s a 29er with 2×8 drivetrain. I’m new to mountain bikes and looking to ride single track. Are there any other bikes in this range I should consider? I’d wanted to spend up to $500 but the extra $29 won’t kill me. I’m 5’6″ and would prefer a small frame. I tested the small and medium and was more comfortable with the small.
