Anybody know of a company that makes a carbon fork with a D-Shape steerer or similar that would allow me to fully hide my cables on my Crux? I’ve seen them for road bikes but curious if anybody has tried this for a gravel bike. I don’t want or need side bolts. Just want like 45mm tire clearance and the ability to integrate my cockpit.
Like this for gravel:

It’s usually a special stem and headset that companies use. The fork just needs to have the cutouts to pass the wires/lines from the stem.
Side note, I wouldn’t do this with mechanical…or at all really. It’s a nightmare if you want to adjust your stem. I went internal at the down tube back on my new bike and even that was a pain around the bottom bracket.
Cervelo Aspero-5 uses a fork with a dimpled tube to run the cables fully internally.
And yeah, it’s a pain in the ass. Wish I’d saved a few bucks and gotten the standard Aspero.
You don’t want this “feature.” It’s not good.
